Vanlid 250mg Tablet is only effective in treating Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea and is not useful for treating other types of diarrhea or any other infection in the body. It may be used for treating adults as well as children. This medicine is taken orally, with or without food. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
